Nick was born in Arizona and raised in San Jose, California, before moving to Los Angeles as a teenager. For several years Nick attempted stand-up comedy, acting, writing, and directing theatrical productions. Later, Nick married way out of his league and relocated with his wife to Massachusetts.


Nick earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law in 2018. Before that, he received an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice from Massasoit Community College (2013) and a Bachelor of Arts in Writing, Rhetoric, and Communication from UMass Dartmouth (2015).


During law school, Nick interned with the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, where he gained experience in legal research, mediation, employment, and civil rights law. He also worked with a solo practitioner in Massachusetts, gaining hands-on experience in multiple practice areas.


Nick was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2018 and opened a solo practice, serving clients in criminal, family, civil and property matters, as well as estate planning and probate. He became licensed in Rhode Island in 2020, where he practiced primarily in family, criminal, and estate planning for the law firm of Bazar & Associates. In 2021, he was admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island.


After becoming licensed in Connecticut in 2024, Nick joined the Law Offices of Pat Brown, where he is privileged to work with great people, serving clients primarily with criminal defense and post-conviction matters.
